Description:
The sprue bushing directs the flow of plastic into the runner system. There is a spherical radius (1/2 in. or 3/4 in.) on the machine side to assure an alignment of the machine nozzle and the mold. This assures continuous plastic flow into the mold.
Location:
Inside the locating ring, recessed through clamping and “A” plates. Located on the “A” half of the mold.
