The bill of materials on a part print is included to identify “standard” items used in a mold’s manufacture. This is important because it allows anyone involved with the product to understand what is required of this mold. When “standards” are used in a mold design, they should be referenced to the item number in the bilI. If they are omitted, there will be difficulty during construction.
