Coolant Channel Patterns – Simple Level Cooling Circuit

CoolantChannelPatterns-SimpleLevelCoolingCircuit

This illustration represents a cooling circuit for a shallow, single cavity mold. Coolant channels are drilled as shown here. Each hole opening is drilled and tapped for a tapered pipe thread and a tapered pipe plug may be used to stop the flow and reroute or send the coolant in directions necessary to flow around the part cavity so that all sides of the cavity are cooled.
