 LACK OF “NOTES”

LackOfNotes

A design draftsman will often get so caught up in his work and intimate with what he is drawing, that notes to describe details are omitted because it is felt that “everyone knows”. This can also occur when time becomes tight and some of the informational notes are not added to the print.

It is important for all people reviewing a print to have a good understanding of the requirements of the item on the print. Mistakes can be made by not understanding feature requirements on a mold, causing a different mold base selection to be made.
