Springs And Their Role In The Plastic Inaction Molding Industry

Springs And Their Role Within Plastic Injection Molding

Description:
Springs are used to assure positive return (locating). They are typically placed around the ejector return pins. During ejection they are compressed, once the ejection force is removed the springs extend and force the ejector mechanism (plates) back.

Location:
Typically, springs are used on the four return pins that are located in the four corners of the mold just inside the leader pins.
