Ejector Housing In Mold Prints

Ejector Housing

The ejector housing is the structure on the rear of the mold which contains the ejection mechanism (ejector bar, ejector retainer plate, return pins, KO pins and stop pins). It also dictates the maximum ejection stroke (based on the height of its sides or rails).

The ejector housing is the back half of the “B” side of the mold. Typically it is 3 to 4 inches high.
