The Image Shows Ejector Retainer Plate, Ejector Cover, and Pin Retainer
The ejector retainer plate is used in a mold to fasten the ejector mechanism (ejector pins, return pins, etc.) to the ejector plate. The retainer plate is recessed for the head of each pin. The pin bottoms become flush with the back of the plate and the ejector plate then fastens directly to the retainer plate. During ejection, the retainer plate “pulls” the ejector mechanism (pins) back.
