Through Pin Vent

Through Pin Vent

These drawings represent venting around and down an ejector pin. Flats are ground to keep the pin centered and allow venting. Gases can then vent through the flats, into the relief area, and then out the mold base. Depth of the flats must match the resin viscosity so that only the gases may escape.
